CDO Orders Fast-Tracking of Chief Minister’s Announcements.

Chamoli: In a progress review held on Wednesday, Chief Development Officer Dr Abhishek Tripathi directed officials to accelerate public welfare projects under the Chief Minister’s Announcements.
He emphasised inter-departmental co-ordination, timely follow-ups at government level, and strict adherence to technical checks before construction.
Dr Tripathi instructed that geological surveys and soil testing must precede any DPR preparation to avoid future complications. The Housing Department was told to complete parking facilities promptly, with unsuitable sites to be replaced by new selections. The Public Works Department was ordered to finish surveys of proposed motorways quickly and submit DPRs, while expediting construction of approved roads.
Additional District Economics and Statistics Officer Bhupal Singh Chauhan reported that since July 2021, the Chief Minister has made 166 announcements in the district. Of these, 101 projects have been completed, while the remainder are progressing at different stages.
This review underscores the administration’s push to deliver on promises and ensure infrastructure projects meet both technical and public welfare standards.
