Chamoli: District Magistrate, Gaurav Kumar has ordered tougher traffic arrangements for the Chardham Yatra, with special focus on curbing over speeding and monitoring bikers.

At a high-level review meeting ahead of the monsoon season Tuesday, DM has directed all departments to finalize preparations early to ensure pilgrims face no inconvenience. Fuel supply at petrol pumps along the route will be closely monitored to prevent shortages.
