Two story building collapsed, two dead and left five injured.

Chamoli: At Tuesday night, around 8.00 pm, it was reported at police station, Helang that a two-storey building near Vishnugad crusher in Helang market had collapsed and some local and some people of Nepali origin were living in the building.

Immediately on the information, the rescue was started along with SDRF, NDRF and Police Force along with the in-charge Inspector Joshimath. After reaching the spot, police took out 04 injured with the help of local people and sent them to Community Health Center Joshimath by emergency vehicle 108. After hard work, 02 seriously injured persons and 01 dead person were taken out of the damaged building at 2:30 pm and brought to the Community Health Center Joshimath through 108. One seriously injured man of Nepal origin, dead during the treatment on Wednesday morning today. There were total 07 persons in the building. In which 02 women and 05 men are included.
