Yellow alert of rain issued in Uttarakhand.

Chamoli: There is a possibility of rain in five districts including Doon in Uttarakhand. The yellow alert has been issued by meteorological center on Friday. Rrain and thunder might be take place at some places in Dehradun, Chamoli, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh and Nainital districts.

Apart from this, light rain may also occur in some areas of Tehri, Pauri and Champawat districts. Snowfall in Pithoragarh high snow, whereas, light rain is expected in some areas of other districts as well. Due to this, people can also get relief from the heat in the plains for the last few days. Due to the lack of rain, the heat is haunting the people in the plains. On Thursday, the maximum temperature of Doon was 35.9 degrees, which is six degrees above normal.
