CM Helpline Complaints Under the Microscope.
Chamoli: District Magistrate Gaurav Kumar has chaired a detailed review meeting this week, following directives from Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, to tackle the backlog of complaints lodged through the CM Helpline 1905.

On Tuesday, the district level officials were told to lift their game and ensure complaints are resolved promptly, with quality outcomes and genuine satisfaction for the common folks.
Figures tabled at the meeting showed the Public Works Department topping the list with 38 unresolved complaints, followed by the Revenue Department with 28. The Forest Department had 12, Police 11, and both Rural Development and Irrigation Departments recorded 10 each.
Kumar has stressed that departments must pay particular attention to cases being converted into demands or force-closed, urging a fair dinkum approach rather than brushing issues aside. Sub-Divisional Magistrates were tasked with handling Revenue Department matters, while Public Works officers were told to fast-track road and construction-related grievances.
To keep things on track, all department heads have been ordered to conduct weekly reviews, speak directly with complainants for feedback, and make use of the CM Helpline mobile app for regular monitoring.
